PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to selectively use a cool box which is loaded in the vehicle as a cooling box and a heating box. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle comprises an air conditioner case(110), an evaporator, a heater core, a connection duct(130), a device(151) used as a cooling box and a heating box. The connection duct includes a cold air connection duct(130A) and a hot air connection duct(130B). The cold air connection duct is connected to a cold air discharging hole(120A). The hot air connection duct is connected to a hot air discharging hole(120B). The device used as the cooling box and the heating box includes a cold air inlet, a hot air inlet, and a cold and a hot converting door(157).
