PURPOSE: A closed-loop cooling device for batteries is provided to prevent electric short of a battery module, to maintain the temperature of the battery module, and to prevent leakage of harmful gas from the battery module. CONSTITUTION: A closed-loop cooling device for batteries(100) comprises housing(110) sealed to prevent inflow of outer air; a battery module(120) located in the housing; an inlet duct(130) which includes an inlet(131) in the battery module; an exhaust hole(141); a fan(140) for inhaling and exhausting gas; a loop duct of which one side thereof is connected to the exhaust hole and the opposite side thereof is connected to the inlet, to transfer the gas; a heat exchanger(160) for cooling gas by being connected to the loop duct; and a pipe(161) for transferring cooling fluid.
