Provided is a lubricant oil degradation sensor, which is installed to a machine, and detects degradation of a lubricant oil of the machine. The sensor is provided with a gap-formed member, which has formed therein a gap for oil, said gap having the lubricant oil enter. The sensor is provided with a light emitting element, a color light receiving element, and a supporting member, which supports the gap-formed member. The sensor is provided with a fixing member for fixing the sensor to the machine. The gap-formed member transmits light emitted from the light emitting element. The gap for oil is disposed on an optical path extending from the light emitting element to the color light receiving element. The fixing member rotatably supports the supporting member such that the direction of an opening of the gap for oil changes when the supporting member rotates. |
