The present invention includes: a reflection electrode (2); functional layers (3, 4, 5) which are layered on the reflection electrode and have one or a plurality of layers; organic light-emitting layers (6b, 6g, 6r) layered on the functional layers; a transparent electrode (8) provided above the organic light-emitting layers; a low-refractive-index layer (9) layered on the transparent electrode; and a first thin-film sealing layer (10) layered on the low-refractive-index layer. The refractive index of the low-refractive-index layer (9) is lower than the refractive index of the transparent electrode (8), and the difference in the refractive indices thereof is 0.4-1.1. The refractive index of the low-refractive-index layer (9) is lower than the refractive index of the first thin-film sealing layer (10), and the difference in the refractive indices thereof is 0.1-0.8. The thickness of the low-refractive-index layer (9) is 20-130 nm.
