<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston capable of improving slidability of a piston pin. <P>SOLUTION: This piston 10 includes a piston body 1, the piston pin 2 slidably inserted into a small end hole 22 of a connecting rod 20, and a pin boss part 4 arranged in the piston body 1 and formed with a pinhole 6 in which the piston pin 2 is slidably inserted. A pinhole sliding area R1 of an outer peripheral surface 2a of the piston pin 2 has a plurality of recessed parts regularly arranged in a mutually independent shape, and a connecting rod sliding area R2 of the outer peripheral surface 2a of the piston pin 2 has a sliding surface unprovided with the recessed part. In this piston 10, while reducing the contact area between the piston pin 2 and the pinhole 6 by the recessed parts of the pinhole sliding area R1, the oil reserving effect can be suitably exhibited, and the connecting rod sliding area R2 can also be adapted to the fact of being relatively high in bearing pressure by the sliding surface of the connecting rod sliding area R2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
