<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably seal an open surface (an open surface of an oil groove or the like) that forms a curved surface of a workpiece to be inspected in leak test. <P>SOLUTION: The method for masking an open surface 23 having an open space 22 of a workpiece 21 to be subjected to leak test includes: moving a press jig 3 close to the workpiece 21, while interposing a curved surface seal member 1 and a plate 2 in an overlapped manner between the press jig 3 and the open surface 23 of the workpiece 21; and bringing the curved surface seal member 1 into contact with the open surface 23 and pressing the curved surface seal member 1 to push the open surface 23 to be widened, thereby sealing the open surface 23 of the workpiece 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
