<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire excelling in the long-term adhesiveness of steel cords and coating rubber forming a belt, and having high durability. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a carcass and the belt disposed on the tire-radially outer side of the carcass, wherein the belt is formed of a layer of the steel cords coated with the coating rubber. In the pneumatic tire, on the tire-radially outer side of the belt, there is arranged a rubber member comprising a rubber composition in which an adsorbent having a moisture absorption amount of 5 mass% or more at 25°C and 50% relative humidity is mixed by 1-30 parts with 100 pts.mass of rubber component.
