<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water level measuring device having high reliability which operates even when water level in a reactor lowers considerably. <P>SOLUTION: The water level measuring device is provided with: a heating element 11 stored in a reactor pressure vessel 2; an insulator 12 installed so as to encircle the surrounding of the heating element 11 in a part of the height direction of the heating element 11; a temperature difference measuring device 13 for measuring temperature difference between an insulation part encircled by the insulator 12 of the heating element 11 and a non-insulation part not encircled by the insulator 12; a signal line 18 which is bridged across the inside and the outside of the reactor pressure vessel 2 from a side wall of the reactor pressure vessel 2 and supplies the temperature difference measured by the temperature difference measuring device 13 outside the reactor pressure vessel 2; and a water level evaluation device 15 for evaluating water level of coolant of the reactor pressure vessel 2 on the basis of the temperature difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
