<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a search time of an alternative route at the time of a wide-area disaster. <P>SOLUTION: Each communication device is grouped to one of a plurality of areas, and each area includes an edge node an active path passes through at the beginning and an edge node the active path passes through at the end. A network management device holds fault information including a value indicating whether or not a fault has occurred in each area, and also holds bypass path information including a value indicating a plurality of edge nodes, a value indicating an alternative area of each area, and priority allocated to each alternative area. If it has been determined that a fault has occurred in a first area on the basis of the fault information, the network management device determines an alternative area of the first area on the basis of the bypass path information, and if it has been determined that a fault has not occurred in the alternative area of the first area, it determines that the alternative area of the first area will be a second area the active path passes through, and based on the bypass path information, it determines two edge nodes included in the second area, and detects each communication device the active path between the two edge nodes passes through. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
