<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas containing calcium ferrite as a catalyst component, having more improved catalytic activity. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas comprising the calcium ferrite and metal oxide different from the calcium ferrite in which the calcium ferrite selected from the group consisting of Ca<SB POS="POST">2</SB>Fe<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">5</SB>, CaFe<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">4</SB>and combinations thereof and a specific surface area of the metal oxide is >10m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g and <250m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g and the mass ratio of the calcium ferrite and the metal oxide (metal oxide/calcium ferrite) is ≥1.0 and ≤3.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
