<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter device for washer applicable to the filtering of impurities with various sizes such as iron rust with simple configuration and a low cost filter medium. <P>SOLUTION: The filter device is disposed in a water supply channel for supplying water from an external water source to a washing device. The filtering device comprises: a filter case with a water inlet at one end and a water outlet at the other end; a cylindrical core member contained in the filter case, the core member having a plurality of through-holes at its side wall; a filter medium supported by the core member, the filter member being made of fabric wound into a cylindrical shape; and a holding plate supported by one end of the core member so as to cover the filter medium, the holding plate having a surface orthogonal to a direction of water flow from the water inlet, thereby receiving water from the water inlet with the holding plate and filtering water by drawing it from the outer circumferential surface of the filter medium to the center thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
