摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an entire device compact with a simple structure for a post-processing path and a duplex path and to simplify processing when sheet jamming occurs.

SOLUTION: A first paper discharge port on the upper part and a second paper discharge port on the lower part are provided on a housing 10 of an image forming unit A1 with an interval. A paper discharge path 22 of sheets from an image forming part 12 is branched for selectively transferring to the first paper discharge port and the second discharge port. Thus, a switchback path at a position connecting to the first paper discharge port and a sheet carrying path at a position connecting to the second paper discharge port are disposed on a housing of a post-processing unit C with a path interval formed vertically.
