<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration method for toner particle fluid dispersion such that a toner cake having excellent washability and a low water content is obtained and further obtained toner has excellent image characteristics and thermal characteristics as a filtration method of separating toner particles from a toner particle fluid dispersion. <P>SOLUTION: While the toner cake is formed by introducing a toner particle fluid dispersion into a basket of a centrifugal separator and performing centrifugal filtration by rotating the basket, a gas medium is introduced into the basket, the interior of the basket is placed in a pressurized state, and the gas medium is passed through the toner cake to perform filtration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
