PURPOSE: A thin light guide panel based flat-surface type led lighting device is provided to be attached to the surface of a ceiling finishing material without a separate supporting unit. CONSTITUTION: A light source module(120) is closely adhered to a part of a light guide plate(110). The light source module includes a circuit board(122) and LEDs(124). A frame(130) supports the light source module. The frame includes an upper cover part(132) like the shape of the light guide plate, and a lower cover part(134). The frame further includes a lateral support part(136) made of a metal having excellent thermal conductance.
