SOCKS WITH A REINFORCED LINE

PURPOSE: Outer socks are provided to prevent threads in a band part from unraveling even though the band part is pulled when wearing outer socks. CONSTITUTION: A right-down picker(418) and a left-down picker are lowered when knitting front and heel parts. A 1F-actuator installed on the lower side of an upper base lifts a zipper when a cylinder rotates while weaving a band part. The lifted zipper raises a needle on the upper part. The lower part of the raised needle is completely raised by a 1F racing cam, snatches a thread and stitches up the band part, the heel part, and a bottom part of the outer socks. A reinforcement line is formed on both ends of the band part. An elastic part knitted with an elastic thread is made in a part of the outer socks. A cushion portion is formed on the bottom part of a toe part by forming a pile.
