<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembled battery capable of easily preparing an insulation member even when the number of electric cells is changed and incorporating the insulation member together with the electric cells. <P>SOLUTION: The assembled battery includes a stack case 2, a spacer 8, and an inner lid member 11 functioning as the insulation member. A plurality of electric cells 7 are accommodated in the stack case 2 by arranging them side by side. The spacer 8 is arranged between the adjacent electric cells 7. The inner lid member 11 is provided for each individual electric cell 7 and arranged on a plane on which terminals of the electric cell 7 are provided. The inner lid member 11 includes a proximal part 56 facing a plane between the terminals 41, 42 of the electric cell 7 and a terminal insulation part 57 covering the terminals 41, 42 of the electric cell 7 provided at both ends of the proximal part 56.
