<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element and a piezoelectric actuator which allow size reduction by a structure capable of obtaining excellent processing accuracy through simple processing. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element comprises: a bar-like elastic body 3E having a substantially cylindrical shape with a through-hole 3H; an oblong slit s1 formed on a side peripheral surface of the bar-like elastic body 3E along a long-axis direction of the bar-like elastic body 3E, within a range not reaching both end faces in the long-axis direction of the bar-like elastic body 3E; a piezoelectric member provided in a portion of the side peripheral surface other than that provided with the slit s1; and electrode members 7-1 and 7-2 which are provided on the piezoelectric member on the side peripheral surface, within a range in the long-axis direction not reaching both ends of the slit s1 and in a manner straddling the slit s1 in the circumferential direction of the bar-like elastic body 3E. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
