<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently recovering propylene oxide that does not produce propylene glycol as a by-product. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering propylene oxide is configured as follows. A gas mixture containing propylene oxide is brought into contact with an absorbing solution, containing propylene carbonate, so that the absorbing solution absorbs the propylene oxide.
