<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver which can easily set an installation site (residential district of a user) of the receiver. <P>SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiver includes: a screen generation section for generating a selection screen for displaying choices for collectively setting a first code and a second code; a reception section for receiving element selection of the choices in the selection screen by a user; and a code setting processing section for collectively setting the first code and the second code in response to input information from the reception section.
