<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper frame 10 of a construction machine 100, including: a center section 20 with a base plate 28 and right/left vertical plates 24, 25 extending in a back and forth direction as erected on the base plate 28; and right and left deck parts 21, 22 that are provided respectively on right and left sides of the center section 20 and have side frames 26, 27 extended in a back and forth direction and connection members 30, 40 for connecting the side frames 26, 27 with the center section 20, in which the upper frame improves routing performance of piping such as a hydraulic hose 151 by devising its structure while a width of a cab 12 is fully secured. <P>SOLUTION: A front end of each of vertical plates 24, 25 is projected more forward than the front end of each of side frames 26, 27 so as to provide working machine mounting parts to the projected vertical plate parts 24a, 25a.
