<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting module which includes mounting surfaces, each of which has a pair of electrode surfaces, in multiple directions, has an emitter mounted on one of the mounting surfaces, and uses one of the other mounting surfaces as a contact surface with a mother board or the like thereby obtaining the flexibility of the light emitting direction and the mounting direction and achieving excellent heat radiation performance. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting module includes: a substrate 12 which is formed by a polyhedron having multiple mounting surfaces 17a to 17e of an emitter 13 and where the adjacent mounting surfaces form a predetermined angle, the substrate 12 where each mounting surface has a pair of electrode surfaces 15a, 16a at both sides with an insulation layer 14 sandwiched by the electrode surfaces 15a, 16a; and the emitter 13 mounted on one mounting surface selected from among the multiple mounting surfaces. One of the other mounting surfaces, excluding the one mounting surface 17a where the emitter 13 is mounted, serves as a contact surface placed on electrode patterns 19a, 19b of a mother board 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
