<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element capable of improving light extraction efficiency and being manufactured with ease and with good reproductivity, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting element 1 has: a semiconductor lamination structure 11-13 having a light-emitting layer 12 emitting light by supplying power; a transparent electrode 14 that is formed on an upper surface of the semiconductor lamination structure 11-13, is transparent to the light emitted from the light-emitting layer 12, and has conductivity; and a transparent high-refractive index film 15 that is formed on an upper surface of the transparent electrode 14, is transparent to the light emitted from the light-emitting layer 12, and has a refractive index higher than that of the transparent electrode 14. The transparent high-refractive index film 15 has the refractive index that becomes lower consecutively or by stages as the distant from the transparent electrode 14 becomes longer, and has a uniform composition independently of the distance from the transparent electrode 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
