<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the burden when a user minds a clock to release a temporary stop while excluding a peak tine zone when power demand reaches a peak. <P>SOLUTION: A washing machine in a state where a setting result of an operation course is temporarily stopped, releases the temporary stop both in a case where a second operation element is operated before a temporary stop release period is determined to have elapsed and in a case where the temporary stop release period is determined to have elapsed before the second operation element is operated.
