<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having reduced viewing angle dependency which enlarges a viewing angle and suppresses the lowering of contrast due to the incidence of external light. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a backlight for emitting light with high directivity in a direction of a display surface from the surface on the display surface side of the liquid crystal display device; a liquid crystal panel arranged on the display surface side of the backlight; and a diffusion light portion 200 arranged on the display surface side of the liquid crystal panel. The diffusion light portion 200 has a lens sheet 210 in which a lens group including a plurality of lenses 212 is formed on the surface of the liquid crystal panel side, and a light absorbing layer 220 which is arranged on the display surface side of the lens sheet 210 and has an opening 222 provided at a position including a region through which light condensed by the lenses 212 passes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
