<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a number of alternatives of an editing object image to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A synthesis processing unit combines subject moving images and synthesizes the images at a given position on a combination pattern (specifically, a position of P1 at the time of first time photographing, a position of P2 at the time of second time photographing, and the like). A display control unit uses a touch panel monitor to display a live view screen as shown in FIG. 16A, for example. To be specific, a live view screen including subject moving images acquisition of which has been started and a synthetic moving image in which the subject moving images have been synthesized in a combination pattern is displayed. By observing the live view screen, a user can check the user's own photographic condition and arrangement in the combination pattern.
