In a gear coupling comprising a sleeve 11 and a shaft hub 12, axial outward movement of the hub in the sleeve is limited by a seal ring 16 retained by circlips 27, and comprising an internally and externally channelled ring containing 0-rings 21, 23, and having one outer land removed to provide a chamfered edge 22 facilitating assembly of the outer 0-ring 23. A removable plug 32 in the sleeve permits introduction of lubricant.
