<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficient and long life white organic electroluminescent element capable of providing a high color rendering properties used as an illumination light source; particularly providing high average color rendering index Ra and high red special color rendering index R9. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element is constituted including: an anode; an organic material doped with a blue luminescent material having the maximum light-emitting wavelength in a range of 460 nm or less; an organic material doped with a first green luminescent material having the maximum light-emitting wavelength in a range of 460-540 nm; an organic material doped with a second green luminescent material having the maximum light-emitting wavelength in a range of 540-610 nm; an organic material doped with a red luminescent material having the maximum light-emitting wavelength in a range of 610 nm or more; and a cathode. (Emission intensity of the second green luminescent material)/(emission intensity of the red luminescent material) is 0.66 or less.
