<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method using a recursive security protocol to protect digital data. <P>SOLUTION: The system and method may include a step for encrypting a bit stream with a first encryption algorithm, and a step for associating a first decryption algorithm with the encrypted bit stream. Next, an obtained bit stream may be encrypted by a second encryption algorithm so as to generate a second bit stream. Then, the second bit stream is associated with a second decryption algorithm.
