摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform focus detection, even if there is vignetting of a focus detection luminous flux due to manufacture errors in focus detection by a phase difference system. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging device (107) comprising a plurality of focus detecting pixel pairs for outputting an image signal pair by respectively photoelectric converting a luminous flux pair passing through different areas of a taking lens (TL); a flash memory (133) for storing center axis misalignment information of the focus detecting pixel pair, relative to an optical axis of the taking lens; a correction part (170) for correcting a signal level of the image signal pair so as to compensate for imbalance in quantity of light incident on each of the focus detecting pixel pair, on the basis of the center axis misalignment information and exit pupil information of the taking lens; and focus detection means (171) for performing focus detection of the taking lens, by using the image signal pair corrected by the correction part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
