<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that has a configuration in which a recording material is conveyed by a conveyance belt and a toner image is transferred to a surface of the recording material on the conveyance belt from an image carrier; and suppresses an increase in adhesion between a rear surface of a leading edge of the recording material and the conveyance belt with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: Timing for conveying a recording material P to a transfer conveyance belt 91 is so controlled that a rear surface of a leading edge of the recording material P overlaps on a toner image T for separation assistance before the toner image T for separation assistance transferred on the transfer conveyance belt 91 makes a round on the transfer conveyance belt 91. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
