<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a skin surface condition including a scalp through a simpler device. <P>SOLUTION: A skin condition measuring apparatus 1A includes: a push element 10 which pushes a skin surface S directly; a lighting means 30 of lighting up a pushed region on the skin surface S so that a dark area of shade of a depression of the skin surface S may be formed by pushing; and imaging means 20 of photographing the pushed region. A tip portion of the push element has a diameter of 10 mm or less.
