A friction torque estimation value is estimated on the basis of indicated torque at that time, a friction torque calculation value is calculated on the basis of an engine state during the engine travel in the past, and a friction torque correction value is found on the basis of the difference between the friction torque calculation value and the friction torque estimation value. When the motor travel is switched to the engine travel, the friction torque calculation value and the friction torque correction value are added to request torque for the engine to obtain target indicated torque.
