摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for inhibiting a decline in interest in a game even if no desired production results are acquired. <P>SOLUTION: A promotion challenge production is executed at a high rate to show a degree of expectation toward transition to a mode under probability variation as a stage until variable display of a special symbol is executed for 10 times after completion of a jackpot game state, and a main character catches a sub-character to give notice of control to a high-probability state, thus permitting a player to execute the variable display of the special symbol for a remaining number of variation times without anxiety while the number of variation times of the special symbol controllable to the high-probability state remains sufficiently.
