<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate and stable cutting work by enabling the accurate setting of the cutting edge projection amount of a cutting insert without complicating the structure of a tool body. <P>SOLUTION: This cutting insert-clamping wedge member 10 for clamping and fixing the cutting insert 1 having the cutting edge 4 at the outer peripheral edge of a rake face 2 onto an insert mounting seat 32 formed on a tool body 31 includes a wedge body 11 which is pushed into a recess 37 of the tool body 31 and which has a clamping face 12 to abut on the rake face 2 or the seating face of the cutting insert 1, a wedge face 13 formed to be gradually less spaced from the clamping face 12 toward the pushing-in direction of the wedge body 11, a through-hole 14 extending along the pushing-in direction for a clamping screw 5 to be inserted thereinto, and a receiving face 15 opposed to a side face 3 of the cutting insert 1, formed along the axial direction of the through-hole 14, and raised up relative to the clamping face 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
