PURPOSE: A regenerative thermal oxidizer is provided to prevent toxic gas from discharging and to improve combustion efficiency by increasing residence time. CONSTITUTION: A regenerative thermal oxidizer(1) comprises a combustion chamber(10), a heat storage chamber(20) which is filled with a heat storage body and is equipped in a lower part of the combustion chamber, and a supply and exhaust air distribution chamber(30) which is equipped in a lower part of the heat storage chamber. One or more 4-way cylinder valves(300) are arranged in the supply and exhaust air distribution chamber. The 4-way cylinder valve includes a cylindrical outside cylinder and a cylindrical inside cylinder. When the 4-way cylinder valve coincides with a toxic gas inlet hole(315) of the outside cylinder, toxic gas flows in the inside of the inside cylinder, flows in the heat storage chamber, and is supplied to the combustion chamber. |
