<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor control device capable of accurately controlling a gas sensor to a target element temperature, even in a transition period of an operation state of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 11 of an ECU 5 acquires the present exhaust gas temperature from an exhaust temperature sensor 3, and calculates a difference between a previous exhaust gas temperature and the present exhaust gas temperature. When a change of the exhaust gas temperature is in a rise tendency, an absolute value of the difference is not lower than 20°C, and a flag indicating that the correction processing of the target impedance of a cell 21 as a detection element of an oxygen sensor 2 as the gas sensor is performed is turned off, it is determined that the operation state of the internal combustion engine is in the transition period. Then, a correction value (correction coefficient) of the target impedance of the cell 21 of the oxygen sensor 2 is obtained from the exhaust gas temperature. The CPU 11 corrects the target impedance of the cell 21 of the oxygen sensor 2 by using the correction value, and feed-back controls power supplied to a heater 26 on the basis of the corrected target impedance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
