<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image degradation by uniforming a temperature between all head arrays without new heating mechanism nor complicated mechanical structure. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: the head arrays where a plurality of liquid droplet ejection heads for ejecting liquid droplets to a recording medium are arranged on an array base in a staggered shape; a head array unit where the plurality of head arrays are arranged to be separate from each other to intersect with a recording medium conveyance direction every color; and a liquid droplet head driving circuit for supplying a drive signal for ejecting liquid droplets to the liquid droplet ejection head where thermal energy generated by driving the driving the liquid droplet ejection head driving circuit is used for the temperature adjustment of the head arrays by thermally binding the liquid droplet ejection head driving circuit with the array base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
