<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cartridge capable of preventing air bubbles from intruding into a liquid jet head. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid cartridge 3 includes a liquid reservoir part 15 which stores liquid to be supplied to the liquid jet head 2 which can jet a liquid droplet, and a liquid supply part 16 which is connected to a cartridge connection part 21 that communicates with a channel in the liquid jet head 2, and makes the liquid in the liquid reservoir 15 flow toward the cartridge connection part 21. The liquid supply part 16 is constituted of a foam part 17 composed of porous material into which the liquid from the liquid reservoir 15 infiltrates, and a filter member 18 formed at the cartridge connection part 21 side of the foam part. The filter member 18 has a through-hole 19 penetrating a gap between the surface on the cartridge connection part 21 side and the surface on the foam part 17 side, and the through-hole 19 is formed to be tapered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
