<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method, and a computer program product for delaying an operation that reduces a lifetime of a memory. <P>SOLUTION: A system 500 for delaying an operation that reduces a lifetime of a memory, comprises a storage system 503 including a plurality of storage devices 530 and 540. At least a part of commands reduces the lifetime of the memory, and has bad influence on at least one of modules and blocks 531, 532, 533, 541, 542 and 543. During usage of the system 500, a device 510 operates in order to prolong lifetimes of the storage devices 530 and 540 without depending on such commands that reduce the lifetimes of the storage devices. During usage of the system 500, at least one feature related to the lifetime of the memory is determined.
