<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether to automatically restore an elevator by properly determining the condition of the elevator when an earthquake occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: an elevator condition accumulation means (13) for sequentially storing a variety of measured values collected by a plurality of sensors (14) as time-series data; and means (11, 12) for determining the condition of the elevator. The means (11, 12) determine that the elevator is in an abnormal condition when a detection signal is received from an earthquake sensor, and determine that the elevator is in a normal condition when no signal is received therefrom. In addition, they collect measured values as normal-state values from the sensors (14) at predetermined intervals to update the time-series data when the elevator is determined to be in a normal condition, immediately collect various measured values from the sensors (14) as earthquake-state values to update the time-series data when the elevator is determined to be in an abnormal condition, and determine that the condition of the elevator is normal without any influence by an earthquake to output a command signal to automatically restore the elevator stopped at the occurrence of the earthquake when the earthquake-state values measured are within a permissible range relative to the normal-state values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
