<p>The present invention pertains to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program wherein, it is possible to provide linked content having various scenarios. A control information acquisition unit acquires control information containing an absolute time event occurring at a specific time and date on the time axis of a scenario as the event for transitioning from the current scenario to another scenario. A reproduction control unit controls, in accordance with the acquired control information, the reproduction of linked content such that the current scenario transitions to another scenario when the absolute time event occurs.
