PURPOSE: An entrance controlling device is provided to automatically close the entrance and notify to a security administrator for a suitable following procedure when an unauthorized person accompanied pass is confirmed by using the image recognizing technique. CONSTITUTION: An entrance controlling system is comprised of an image storage(101) for storing an image which is received from a CCTV camera; a log information storage(102) which stores an entered person authentication information which is received from an entrance controlling terminal installed at the entrance; an image analysis unit(103); and an entrance controlling unit(104). The image analysis unit analyzes the image which is received from the CCTV camera; produces the recognition information of the entrance by comparing the ratio of size of a person extracted from the image and a reference value which is predetermined for each entrance; and produces the number of entrance passed people information which corresponds to the entrance recognition information and the passed time information which the number corresponds to the entrance recognition information. The entrance controlling unit checks the authentication information within the predetermined time based on the time entering the entrance by using the entrance recognition information and the passed time information, compares the number of people based on the authentication information and the number of people based on the number of people information; produces an entrance control signal and transmits to the entrance controlling terminal installed at the entrance if the number of people based on the number of people information exceeds the number of people based on the authentication information.
