<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes dryer capable of detecting the inner temperature of clustered laundry as well as the surface temperature thereof, thereby monitoring the self heating due to fat-and-oil attached to laundry. <P>SOLUTION: A clothes dryer comprises: laundry temperature detecting unit for detecting the temperature of laundry contained in a drum by non-contact; control device for controlling the rotation of the drum on the basis of the detected temperature obtained by the laundry temperature detecting unit. The control device is configured to terminate the clothes drying operation based on the detected temperature, and subsequently start the spontaneous ignition monitoring operation for monitoring the spontaneous ignition of laundry by use of the detected temperature obtained by the laundry temperature detecting unit by rotating the drum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
