<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of acquiring an image having high quality with simple and compact configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A projector comprises: a plurality of light source parts for emitting coherent light being color light in wavelength regions being different from each other; a diffraction optical element 12 for diffracting the coherent light incident from the plurality of light source parts and emitting diffracted light; a collimating lens 14 for collimating luminous flux of the diffracted light incident from the diffraction optical element 12; a spatial light modulating device 15 for modulating the light incident from the collimating lens 14 in accordance with an image signal; and a rotation motor 13 being driving means for changing an incidence position of the coherent light in the diffraction optical element 12 by moving the diffraction optical element 12. A plurality of hologram structures for diffracting the coherent light are formed in the diffraction optical element 12, and the hologram structures for letting the coherent light be incident are changed temporally by driving the driving means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
