<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for testing a vehicle brake, configured to obtain normal test data even if a command from a computer is delayed. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle brake testing system 1 for testing a brake by use of a dynamometer 13 controlled by a command transmitted from a computer includes: the computer 12 that transmits the command to an operation board 15 according to a test pattern; a dynamometer 13 that accelerates a wheel by acceleration control through the operation board 15, according to an acceleration command transmitted from the computer 12; and a brake that decelerates the wheel by deceleration control through the operation board 15, according to the deceleration command transmitted from the computer 12 after acceleration. The dynamometer 13 is kept ON from the start of acceleration to the end of deceleration for control.
