<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display member which prevents protrusions and recesses from being generated on the base material surface by a novel and innovative method without depending on a double-sided tape and also to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A display member includes: a base material having a light transmission region in at least a part thereof; and a print layer which is printed in at least a part of the light transmission region of the base material and in which light of a light source irradiated from the rear face side of the base material and transmitting to the surface side of the base material is used as a display medium. The print layer includes a light shielding layer which shields the base material excluding the display part, and a step absorbing layer which has optical transparency and is formed in the display part in order to eliminate a step between the light shielding layer and the display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
