<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared light source which is easily machined due to narrow and deep width of a groove on a metal surface compared with a conventional infrared light source with difficult processing of the groove, and a sensor and a gas sensor using the infrared light source. <P>SOLUTION: An infrared light source 101 includes a heater 15 and a radiator 13 having the outermost surface formed of metal. A groove 14 having a rectangular cross section extended in a predetermined direction is formed on a surface of the radiator 13 at a constant cycle. P, W and D having a relation of W>0.5 P and D/W<0.5 when setting the constant cycle to P, a width of the groove 14 to W and a depth of the groove 14 to D are determined so that the wavelength of peak strength of infrared light emitted from the infrared light source 101 coincides with a desired specific wavelength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
