<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store (stack) large-sized paper in a fixed position on a large-sized-paper tray in an aligned state, and to certainly, stably and reliably discharge the paper, while reducing overall size of the large-sized-paper printer and saving installation space. <P>SOLUTION: A paper discharge device includes: a paper discharge guide 2 which is configured to guide large-sized paper Pm to be discharged from a paper discharge part 12, and changes the angle thereof to change the discharging direction (Fo) of the large-sized paper Pm; A paper assist 3 which is configured to push the upper surface of the large-sized paper Pm or pull the lower surface of the large-sized paper Pm so that the large-sized paper Pm having passed the paper discharge guide 2 may be placed on along the large-sized-paper tray 13, and also, which is movable in parallel with the upper surface of the large-sized-paper tray 13; a driving mechanism part 4 which is configured to change the angle of the paper discharge guide 2, and move the paper assist 3; and a control part 5 which is configured to control the driving mechanism part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
