<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight golf club having a head whose weight ratio is increased so as to increase a ball speed, and increasing a head speed by securing the moderate flexibility of a shaft in time of a swing. <P>SOLUTION: In this golf club, the tip of the shaft 3 is provided with the head 2, and the rear end of the shaft 3 is provided with a grip 4. A club weight is 265 g or less, and the ratio (head weight/club weight) of the head weight to the club weight is 0.67 or more and 0.75 or less. When a distance from the tip of the shaft 3 to the gravity center G of the shaft 3 is denoted by L<SB POS="POST">G</SB>and when the full length of the shaft 3 is denoted by L<SB POS="POST">S</SB>, 0.52≤L<SB POS="POST">G</SB>/L<SB POS="POST">S</SB>≤0.65 is satisfied, and when the frequency of the flexural vibration of the club is denoted by F, 180 cpm≤F≤210 cpm is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
