<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel electric linear drive for a rotary-lift motor. <P>SOLUTION: The linear drive comprises a winding system including a plurality of wound coils which are arranged to be coaxial to each other and successive in an axial direction, and a magnet system which is movable in an axial direction relative to the winding system and includes a plurality of axially successive permanent magnets. The coils and the permanent magnets define an air gap therebetween. A sensor is provided for detecting the relative movement of the winding system and the magnet system and for detecting the relative position of the two systems, and the sensor is used for scanning a timing ruler mounted on the outer circumference of the magnet system. The coils of the winding system have a radial bulge or radial recess for the timing ruler, or the magnet system is eccentrically arranged relative to the winding system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
